Guy in back seat of other car: (rolls down window) “Dude - these girls think you are hot.”
Me: (smile)
Girl in passenger seat of other car: (looks at me, turns to girl in driver seat) “He’s old.”
Me: (groan)
Girl in passenger seat: (waits 10 seconds, looks at me again) “How old are you?”
Me: “Yeah, I heard you say ‘he’s old’, that’s not very nice!” (smile)
Girl in passenger seat: “Geez, I just wanted to know how old you were.” (looks forward, slight pause, says defiantly) “I’m legal!”
Me: (BIG groan and laugh)
We all pull away from the light and wave as we pass.
Me: (later) “Yeah…old” ( another groan)
