Opportunities to learn
Work has been tough lately. I’ve needed to work the “normal job” and have also been part of 3 teams writing proposals for more business. This has meant some long hours, but has also given me some good insight and experience in government proposals. All in all, I gave content for 5 proposals and authored/review the majority of the content on 3.
It isn’t like I haven’t written proposals before, it is just that I was able to learn from lots of other people about their approach. I didn’t always agree with what they had, but we will see how it goes. We should hear in the next 2-3 weeks whether we were successful in our bid attempt.
